Family School Partnership high school students visit the Zoology Department and other parts of WSU campus to learn more about preparing for and getting into college and the kinds of careers that a college degree provides.
I research methods for delimiting species boundaries. I work mostly with Sceloporus grammicus, a lizard species found in Mexico, but I have also published papers on other lizard species, malaria mosquitoes, meadow jumping mice, and crickets. Along with species boundaries issues I do research in phylogentics, population genetics, and hybrid zones. I am always looking for good undergraduate researchers so if you are interested email me your CV. Abstracts of my research are posted below.
